Switchgear
Switchgear is the equipment that controls, protects and distributes electrical power in a building. Obian Build sources electrical panels, circuit breakers and distribution boards to the specifications in your BOQ, and our team confirms ratings and specs with you before pricing.
Cabling
Cabling covers the power, control and data cables that connect equipment across a site, including fire-rated types where your project requires them. Send cable types, sizes and lengths in metres or drums, and Obian Build prices them against your list after checking the specifications.
Structural Materials
Structural materials are the steel components that carry loads and support services in a building: steel sections, rebar, cable trays and supports. Obian Build quotes them in tonnes or pieces according to your BOQ, with specifications checked by our team before prices are sent.
Aggregates
Aggregates are the bulk materials used in concrete, mortar and groundworks: sand, crushed stone and cement. Obian Build prices aggregates in tonnes or cubic metres for your delivery site, sourcing through long-standing partners and confirming grades and quantities with you first.
Fixtures
Fixtures are the finishing items installed once the structure and services are in place: lighting, sockets, switches and sanitaryware. List the models, references or preferred brands in your RFQ and Obian Build will check the specifications and come back with prices for each item.

What do I need to send for a materials quote?
The fastest way is to upload your BOQ (bill of quantities) or spec sheet. You can also select categories and enter quantities and units in the form. Add a project name, delivery site, required-by date and your contact details so we can reply.
Which BOQ file formats do you accept?
The upload accepts PDF, XLSX, XLS, CSV and DWG files, as well as DOC and DOCX. You can attach several files in one request.
What materials does Obian Build supply?
Five categories: switchgear (panels, breakers, distribution boards), cabling (power, control and data), structural materials (steel sections, rebar, trays and supports), aggregates (sand, stone and cement) and fixtures (lighting, sockets and sanitaryware).
How does pricing work?
Our team first confirms the specifications in your BOQ or list. We then source through partners we have worked with for over 20 years and come back with prices by email.
Am I committed to buying after requesting a quote?
No. Requesting a materials quote carries no obligation.
Can I ask for specific brands or partial deliveries?
Yes. Use the notes field to list preferred brands, spec references or partial-delivery needs. Our specialist will take them into account and confirm what is possible for your project.
Can I request industrial spare parts here?
Yes. Until the Supply portal opens, spare-parts requests can go through the Build desk using this RFQ form.
